We had to take time to respect the old creator and honor his craft looking for someone to take the mantle of such specific work and we found them. Uesaka is excited to announce the partnership between North Lift Belts owner "Arty" and ourselves. In doing so we have found a way to secure the high quality of our historic piece while also providing it for generations to come. With such a masterful craftsman behind the creation process you can be assured your belt is handmade and amazing quality.
The Uesaka Weightlifting Belt is a belt of many details both big and small. Made of North American Tanned first grade saddle leather its basis is created upon quality. Adding to that the little details such as japanese made nickel plated rivets, italian edged dieing details, and the stainless steel roller buckle take this belt to the next level.
Arty was sure to include and masterfully implement the original designs that make the belt so strong and flexible, tapering the brace edges keep the belt comfortable to the wearer while a shorter back brace helps to reduce discomfort on the lower ribs. This belt is uniquely "comfortable" to wear, something not heard of usually in all weightlifting sports.

Size Small: Fits 24.5-31.5” (62-81cm)
Size Medium: Fits 29-36.5” (74-93cm)
Size Large: Fits 33-41” (84-104cm)

It is important that a fabric tape measure should be used for proper sizing of the belts as Uesaka will not pay for returns due to incorrect sizing. Sizing should be right around the belly button height, with the belly fully sucked in. This sucked in measurement aligns very closely with a well tightened belt. Use this measurement to pick a belt that you fall within the range of. The above ranges are the actual interior circumference measurements from the smallest to the largest holes.
The belts are finished with a Canadaian made BEESEAL leather conditioner. While its not mandatory we do suggest caring for your belt so it can last a very long time. Conditioning your belt with BEESEAL or similar blend of wax to oil ratio every 6 months should protect it. Keep your belt dry and wipe off moisture after training. The belt is by design going to start to develop a nice beutiful and rich patina, darkening to show your time and effort you put into your sport.
