Product care and Warranty F.A.Q.'s

Our products are the highest quality weightlifting equipment pieces in the world. This does however need your help as the consumer to respect this piece of craftsmanship you now own. Our products will stand the test of time if treated correctly and the following section will assist you in taking care of your product. The Uesaka product warranty is contingent on following the Uesaka Product Care Guideline. Warranty may be voided for any product damaged due to negligence or faulty use, alteration or improper maintenance, improper storage, attempt at repair, installation or handling by the user.
Warranty claims on products will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and we take our commitment to quality seriously.

Uesaka Barbells

Any barbell can be damaged with severe abuse and misuse. Misuse includes but is not limited to barbells being dropped while unloaded; dropped on a hard, non-absorbing surfaces or items e.g. asphalt, benches, racks etc. and; stored or left loaded on a rack for an extended period of time. As our barbell are hand tempered to straightness a random "blemish" may occur on the steel as we hammer them individually to straightness vs. robotic means that can damage steel.

Barbells only dropped with loaded bumper plates which are designed to help absorb shock
Barbells only dropped on absorbing surfaces designed for the intent of weightlifting
Barbells are never dropped empty
Barbells should never be stored with weights loaded (ie. a barbell on a squat rack with the load still on it)
Barbells should never get wet...ever
Barbells should be cleaned to remove chalk, sweat, and blood/skin with rubbing 70% alcohol as it evaporates and does not promote rusting
Barbells knurling should be cleaned after every use clearing barbell knurling of chalk, sweat, and debris with a wire or nylon brush
Barbells should be stored in an indoor, climate controlled space that is dry, clean, and holds a temperature at or around 18-27 degrees celcius
Uesaka Barbells have a Lifetime warranty*

*Lifetime warranty notice:

Competition bars for weightlifting and competition bars for powerlifting shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of such products when used in competition. For purposes of this limited warranty, “lifetime” warranty coverage ends when the applicable product becomes unusable for reasons other than defects in workmanship or material/faulty design. This limited lifetime warranty applies only to the original end-user customer of the product for so long as the original end-user customer owns the product. This limited lifetime warranty is non-transferable.

Uesaka Bumpers & Change plate systems

Any bumper plate or change plate can be damaged with severe abuse and misuse. Misuse includes but is not limited to bumpers or change plate systems being dropped on their sides; dropped on a hard, non-absorbing surfaces or items e.g. asphalt and on top of other items etc. and; stored in a climate other than the one advised in the following section. We advise all customers to use Uesaka barbells with Uesaka Bumpers as our company mills the equipment to be accurate and best work with the same brands equipment. We also advise against mixing and matching with other brands as they may not be as accurate and be different diameters, absorption ratings, and center piece diameters.

D-Warrior bumper series have a 2 Year warranty
Pro series & Colored Training (Atlanta) series bumpers have a 4 year warranty
Competition series have a 5 year warranty
Change plate systems and collars have a 5 year warranty

Uesaka Puzzle Tile platform system

Uesaka Puzzle tile is extremely unique and we are proud to have this system available to you. This system with it's uniqueness does require some special care however tho as some parts can be fragile if misused.

Uesaka Puzzle Tile Platform should never have any plates other than bumpers dropped on it
Uesaka Puzzle Tile Platform should be pieced together and pulled apart appropriatly lifting up and or setting in so the piece lays on top of the piece next to it
Uesaka Puzzle Tile Platform can be cleaned with simple water and soap
Uesaka Puzzle Tile Platform has a 2 year warranty

Shipping F.A.Q.'s

Uesaka Barbell Team in the United States tries to ship everything on mondays, wednesdays, and Fridays. Depending on your order, size, and weight it will go either UPS or Old Dominion Freight.

UPS

UPS Orders are all shipped via ground shipping and have a tracking number you will recieve via email. Mostly all orders under 308lbs/140kg will ship UPS. All orders are shipped within 3 days from recieving the order (unless pre-order or store turns off). All orders are shipped with insurance added on for the cost of the items. Once shipped any issues are to be addressed with the shipping provider.

Freight

Freight orders are all currently shipped via Old Dominion and will have a "PRO" number for tracking on the old dominion site. All freight orders are shipped within 3 days from recieving the order (unless pre-order or store turns off). All items are palletized on a standard 48 x 40 pallet. All orders come with call ahead service, residential delivery, and a lift gate service. Once shipped any issues are to be addressed with the shipping provider.
